You can have most every kind of green vegetable such as baby greens, swiss chard, beet greens, celery, carrots – avoid the cabbage family.
All of your vegetables should be organic. Organic vegetables mean that you haven’t used either pesticides or anything but organic fertilizers on them. Fiber is good for you, such is found in fruits and vegetables. Guar gum has fiber, but it can really clog up your insides, permanently, so make sure it’s mixed will with whatever you put it in.
Beets, , green beans cucumbers, okra, sweet potatoes, lemons, shallots, garlic, avocados, onions, vinegar, tomatoes, cold water fish, apples, oranges, grapefruit, pears, papaya are all good to have.
Omega-3 oils such as hemp oil and flax are good for you. Use these along with the lemon juice or vinegar; but never cook flax oil.
If you have gallstones, you must make sure you don’t eat eggs, fowl, coffee, beans, pork, nuts, alcohol, milk or corn. These are the worst.
If you have gallstones, you should eat coconuts, grapes, apricots, casaba melons, turmeric (organic), garlic, lots of water, fresh vegetables, ginger root, artichokes, apples, currants, figs, guavas, prunes and lowfat cottage cheese.
A sluggish gallbladder means that it doesn’t put out enough bile in order to deal with all that bile generally has to deal with. If you have gallstone pain, you should boil a Tablespoon of flax seeds in two and one half cups of water for five minutes. Then, steep it for ten minutes. Sip it slowly. I crush the flax seeds in a blender. It releases more of the goodness. You can also get flax powder. Strain it before you sip it.
You can also juice cucumbers or use the gallbladder beat recipe. Take one large organic beet (raw, not canned) and wash it. Finely grate it. Add the juice from half a lemon along with 2 tablespoons of flax oil. Drink 1 teaspoon every hour of the day. On the scond day, make up a new batch and use 1/4 beet. Take one teaspoon 3-4 times a day. Add this to your salad.s. This will help keep your bile very thin so it will move easily through your bile ducts. Aloe Vera juice is another one that works well to get rid of gallstone pain.
This is what you should do if you have a sluggish gallbladder.
